The Process

Before we start the process, we create the concept together. I will start by sending the client a form to fill out with some basic questions that will help me understand how I can help them best. Then we book a date for a one-hour consultation where we will walk through your space together, this can also be done virtually if you are more comfortable with that or live far away. During our walk through my clients will share the areas they are struggling with, what they need from the space, what they want from the space, and how they want it to feel. I will suggest a variety of options for my clients based on their needs and budget on how they can create a functional yet beautiful space. We will look at paint samples, rearrange furniture and shop your own home for solutions, shop online for new items, scroll their Pinterest boards or use Pinterest to give my clients a visual of what I have in mind, and take measurements if required. After the first hour session with my clients, they have a sense of direction and an action plan that either they do themselves or I can help them step by step to achieve the final vision.

    Helping select the perfect paint colours for your space to achieve the atmosphere they desire.

    Refreshing spaces with a new coat of paint
    It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint will do for your space. I do small scale interior painting projects for projects we designed.

  • Furniture selection and layout
    Feeling overwhelmed with what furniture to buy to fill your space? So many sizes, styles and colours to choose from it can be hard to know where to start. We can help you with a functional layout and finding the right furniture pieces that will bring out your style and personality.

    Finish selection (new build or renos)
    We can help you select your flooring, backsplash, paint, countertops and many other finishes to help you feel confident in your decision to create a beautiful, cohesive space that you envision.

    SketchUp design drawings
    Doing a renovation and need a design plan and drawings to help you bring your vision to life. Also can give you multiple design options for your space to help you decide what design will work best for you. We find having drawings and plans in place help our clients find quotes from contractors as well as give them confidence in their renovation.

    Kitchen design
    We can help you from start to finish. Starting with new kitchen layout for functionality, design and selecting the perfect finishes to make your dream kitchen a reality. Creating 3D renderings to give you visuals as well as layouts to show your contractors so everyone knows what the end result will be.

    Vacation home design
    When designing a vacation home the most important design elements are functionality and durability. We can design your vacation home for these elements from afar (if needed) to help you create a beautiful place for you to escape too.

  • Styling your home
    You love your home but it needs little tweaks to make it feel complete. We can come into your home and work with what you have. Sometimes it may just require rearrange the furniture for better flow and functionality. We can also suggest new options for you if required. Help style your book shelves, hang art or give you a gallery wall that you have been dreaming about.

    Styling a studio or photo shoot
    You are a photographer and need help styling your space for a upcoming shoot or shooting in someone else’s space that needs some sprucing up before the shoot.

    Styling for a special holiday
    You want to create the perfectly decorated space for a upcoming event or holiday and need help bringing that vision to life.
